Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist
BA Psychology, MSW, RSW
Jessica is an empathetic and experienced Registered Social Worker with over 17 years in the field, offering compassionate, evidence-based support to individuals navigating a wide range of mental health and life challenges. Her clinical focus spans concerns such as addiction and recovery, depression and anxiety, chronic mental illnesses including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and borderline personality disorder, as well as relationship issues, procrastination and motivation difficulties, and challenges around self-worth and self-esteem.
Jessica’s most specialized area of practice is in substance addiction and recovery. She works closely with clients to co-create individualized recovery plans that go beyond abstinence and emphasize healing from the complex grief and life disruption that often accompany addiction. Her approach is rooted in the understanding that substance use disorders are chronic and relapsing conditions—requiring ongoing, flexible, and stigma-free treatment plans. For Jessica, success is not measured solely in “days clean,” but in helping clients feel truly empowered to reclaim their lives, rebuild relationships, and sustain long-term wellness on their own terms.
This same philosophy informs her work with clients facing other chronic mental health challenges: that people deserve support that is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and responsive to their evolving needs. Jessica is committed to walking alongside her clients—whether they need guidance, advocacy, or simply someone to hold space—as they cultivate self-efficacy, confidence, and a deeper connection to their own stories.
Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Creative Writing, and completed her Master of Social Work in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, she has continued to expand her knowledge through certifications in Cognitive Processing Therapy, Trauma-Informed Practice, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and ADHD clinical practice—with many more to come.
Jessica is deeply honoured to begin this next chapter of her career with VOX, and looks forward to continuing her mission of empowering clients toward meaningful, lasting change.
